Artist Statement

Keith Rollin studied geology at the University of Nottingham and for many years worked as a professional geophysicist.
After leaving work he returned to painting. He paints landscapes of wild and open spaces, especially mountains. His compositions are broadly figurative with vibrant colour. The structure of the landscape is a feature of much of his work. He is an fellow of the Nottingham Society of Artists and exhibits and sells at the society, the Nottingham Open Studios, the Djanogly Gallery and the Henry Brewer Gallery.
